JamBand App

The app will have several pages for users to interact with. The first page highlights our logo, and a space for users to log in with their password. Once logged in, users are able to visualize the exact band they have. A connect button for bluetooth is found above, down below is the band with a connected indicator and battery amount. The user is also able to visualize content, history and other information about the host via the app to learn more about the event host. The final page enables users and hosts to purchase packages and access information on our main website. The entire app and app framework were designed in figma and Figjam, through more integrated animations to make the app come to life and feel operable, several figma animations and tools were used to bring the concept to life as much as possible. The JamBand was designed in the 3d design tinkercad system. The easy shapes that are offered enabled us to create several mockups of the simplistic design that we wanted to create.

User Page

The user page, it is here whereby the user can truly interact with their specific band. The top of the user page highlights a key id code that is linked with the hosts main interface. This number is a representation for the entire event by which the host’s ordered package is based. It is not the specific ID of a singular band, rather of the package for which the hosts events will be registered with. In the middle of the user page, is a clean display and representation of the exact band that a user was issued for an event. The connect button the the bluetooth connection tab that actively searches for the band that the user has. Each band that is connected to a user's phone will convey the exact color that a user specifically has. Below this, is a green light, that will clearly indicate a successful connection between the band and app. A list of details outlining playlists, device info, settings and event history can be found.

Device Info

The device info outlines the basics of the device. How to use the JamBand, how it correlates and connects to the users phone and other devices, as well as the users preferences for where they wish to place their upvoted music. Each button is clearly labeled on the app so that users and hosts can easily learn about the device and its functionality

Event Host Page

The event host info page is a specific page that the user can get to know the host of the event. This is not to be confused with the Host Interface. This allows the user to see the hosts history of events, the genres of music and the host themselves can put out their own profile info with a summary of who they are, their goals or whatever they desire to express. Music genres can be made into a list of the types that the artist/host can convey so that users/event goers can get an idea of what type of music preference the artist has. Event history highlights the exact music played at a specific event while also taking note of the location and the amount of people that attended the artists previous events. Overall, the host event page is essentially not only a place to learn about the host, but a place to understand what sort of events they can be excited about attending. It gives them a preliminary of how many people to expect, the music taste and more.

The JamBand Info Page, where users and hosts have the opportunity to purchase JamBands and the types of packages we offer, as well as sets up a connection between our app and website. It is also a space dedicated to a growing community of artists and users that can find other ways to get the most of their JamBand experience. This page acts almost entirely as the promotion page for not only JamBand but for recommended artists that have purchased JamBand packages User themselves.

Playlist Page

The playlist is where the Jam of the party for the user takes place. Interacting with this button takes the user to songs that they have particularly upvoted. In doing so, these preferred songs are added to a customizable playlist. The songs within those playlists can either be saved onto the JamBand app itself, or to the users own personal playlists such as their apple music, spotify and more! Songs can also be shared.
