The Band
The physical design of the band consists of 3 buttons that enable the user to interact with their music during an event. These buttons are the upvote, downvote and power/bluetooth connection. An LED light can be found on all JamBands on the bottom right below the downvote button. This LED will inform the user of a successful bluetooth connection between the band and their app/phone. It also lights up to indicate that the band has been turned on successfully. The bands themselves are meant to be disposable, that way, hosts do not need to go through the trouble of finding nor worrying themselves with finding any lost or destroyed bands.
Colors

The Buttons

The bands’ upvote buttons are blue while downvote buttons are red for ease and clarity between the two functions, with blue and red often being associated with opposites, or good and bad, respectively. The power/Bluetooth button is white, the same white as the white band’s body, as to be simple and clearly neutral, compared to the upvote and downvote buttons.

The status of the JamBand is indicated by the LED light, just beside the downvote button, can glow one of three colors that correspond to that band’s connection status with the DJ’s personal device running the JamBand app. This LED was designed to be small and unobtrusive to maintain the minimalist aesthetic of the JamBand button interface.
